The Opportunity:

Help Legion scale its paid-social and paid-search funnels with thumb-stopping, conversion-focused video ads. Your expertise in short-form storytelling, platform-specific best practices, and marketing psychology will be pivotal in turning browsers into buyers across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. You’ll own the end-to-end editing process—from raw footage to final upload—crafting scroll-stopping hooks, tight narratives, and irresistible CTAs that stay on brand and drive measurable growth.

Who You Are:

You’re a results-driven video editor who’s grown revenue through creative performance. You understand why a first-second hook matters, how a three-second retention bump lifts ROAS, and which motion graphics get the click. In addition, you bring:

  • Proven track record editing winning ads for DTC brands (supplements or CPG a plus)
  • Mastery of Adobe Premiere (or Final Cut / Resolve) plus After Effects or comparable motion-graphics tools
  • Deep knowledge of aspect ratios, specs, and best practices for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube (9:16, 1:1, 16:9, etc.)
  • Fluency in performance metrics—CTR, CPM, watch-through, cost-per-conversion—and how creative decisions influence them
  • Strong grasp of marketing psychology: hooks, problem-agitation-solution structure, social proof, urgency, authority, and offer framing
  • Ability to work quickly with iterative feedback, manage multiple versions, and hit tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and fiercely committed to quality

  • Competence with online software and tools (e.g. Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Asana, etc.)

What You'll Do:

  • Edit and deliver high-converting video ads for Meta (Feed/Reels/Stories), TikTok, and YouTube (In-Feed & Shorts).
  • Craft compelling hooks, pacing, captions, and graphics that maximize first-three-second retention and watch-through rate.
  • Repurpose long-form content (podcasts, testimonials, UGC, product shoots) into short-form, platform-native ads.
  • Collaborate with Legion’s creative and media-buying teams to brainstorm concepts, storyboard ideas, and align on brand standards.
  • A/B test hooks, CTAs, thumbnails, and end cards; analyze performance data to iterate and improve creative every week.
  • Maintain an organized asset library and version-control system to keep projects accessible and editable.
  • Stay current with platform updates, viral trends, and competitor ads to keep Legion’s creative fresh and ahead of the curve.
  • Ensure every deliverable adheres to brand guidelines for look, voice, compliance, and claims.
