What has happened so far on the program?
I’m currently on a cut, so I am focusing on weight loss. That being said, I have lost 24lbs of body fat, 4 inches off of my waist and 5 inches off of my hips. I’ve built definition in my arms, pecs and shoulders, and I can see my abs. My strength has maintained pretty constant – which is hard to do on a cut.
What do you like most about the program?
It’s easy to follow. Mike breaks down how the body works (all supported with real peer-reviewed scientific studies) and goes straight into what you need to do in order to accomplish your goals. It’s easy to understand, and it’s not muddled up.
What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?
There’s so many books, gurus, and experts out there writing stuff; it’s very hard to know what is real, and what is BS. When I first saw BLS (Bigger Leaner Stronger) I was skeptical, but it was inexpensive and the author had made a lot of gains himself, so I gave it a shot. Afterall, there was nothing in it that seemed unhealthy or dangerous.
What are three other benefits of the program?
1. It’s all backed by solid science that Mike cites throughout the book. This means that the program works.
2. It’s fast acting. In the first 3 months I totally transformed my body – and am continuing to do so.
3. None of the program details will force you to go beyond your normal body limits. Eating is fun and healthy and the workouts make sense and don’t try to burn you out.
Would you recommend this program? If so, why?
Absolutely. In fact, I’ve taught the program to my 20 year old nephew who has also started to shape his body, with some pretty amazing results. It works, and it’s very simple.
Is there anything else you’d like to add?
Not only does the book contain great advice, and an easy to follow program, but Mike is available by email to answer all sorts of questions. This personal touch seals the deal for me, and has turned me into a lifelong supporter.
If you don’t like something of ours, guess what happens next?
