As you’ve probably noticed, I’ve been on a bit of a writing hiatus as of late.

I’ve been getting more and more emails from people asking why, so I thought a bulletin was in order. 🙂

The long story short is I’ve been promoted in my “day job,” and my new responsibilities are barely leaving me enough time to meal prep and exercise, let alone find the quiet time needed to research and write.

While I’m super grateful for the opportunity that my employer has given me, I do have to admit that it’s a little bittersweet.

I really do miss reading, writing, and chatting with all the readers that I’ve been able to help, and a part of me is itching to get back into the saddle.

The other part of me says I have to face the music, though.

If I’m going to make the most of this new job, I have a lot of hustling to do, and that just doesn’t leave room for my labor of love.

What to do with Nutrition Secrets, then?

I hated the idea of simply abandoning it to collect dust on the Internet. I put in too much time and work for it to end like that!

I then hit on a great idea. I could pass my baby to my good friend, Mike Matthews.

Chances are you’ve already heard of him, but in case you haven’t, you really couldn’t be in better hands.

Mike is the bestselling author of several health and fitness books and the founder of Muscle for Life and Legion Athletics, and is one of the nicest and hardest working guys I know.

Moreover, he publishes amazing articles every week on his websites on diet, exercise, supplementation, and general health and wellbeing.

The bottom line is if you’ve liked my work, then you’re going to love his. Here are a few examples of the type of stuff he turns out regularly:

Well, as you’ve probably guessed by now, I contacted Mike and he was happy to help, which was a huge relief for me. My work can live on! 🙂

The details of the takeover are kind of technical, but here’s what it boils down to:

Mike’s supplement company Legion Athletics (the site you’re currently on) is going to “absorb” the entirety of Nutrition Secrets.

And by that I mean that every article on Nutrition Secrets is going to transfer to Mike’s blog here at Legion, and every link on the Internet pointing to Nutrition Secrets is going to forward to the corresponding pages on his blog.

This way nothing is lost, past or future, and you can keep getting the same type of practical, science-based health and fitness advice that you love.

Just from a different Mike!
