Success Story

How many months’ progress do your pictures represent? What were your stats for each picture?

The first picture was from October 2018 and the second picture is from March 2023. My weight is 182 and my body fat percentage is 10%.

What has happened so far on the program?

In 2018, I was 210 pounds and now I’m within the 180-to-190 pound range. I began my cutting phase in early 2019 for a few months and I lost about 25 pounds and 10% body fat. I have cut down on my diet by eating less which was effective for weight loss. After cutting, I would bulk up to 187 pounds after reaching 180 pounds and I would cycle cutting and bulking every 8-to-10 weeks. My bench press increased from 205 to 230/245 pounds, my deadlift increased from 135 to 335 pounds and my squat increased from 185 to 225 pounds.

What workout split from the book did you use?

I did and still use the 4-day split.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

I searched Amazon and saw that the program was making some noise, getting more popular and generating rave reviews. I read the reviews as well as one description in the book (stating that “You don’t need supplements to build a great physique.”) After reading the description, I thought ‘I’m interested in what this book has to offer.’ Then immediately, I ordered the book. I was concerned the program would have false claims like other companies sometimes have and was relieved it didn’t.

What do you like most about the program?

I like that Mike’s book lays everything out for me. It provides exercise and nutrition advice as well as great tips to increase willpower and self-control. I also like that the program provides weightlifting and cardio recommendations when performing day splits since I’m a fan of weightlifting and HIIT!

How does this program compare with others you’ve tried?

I did the “going on a diet” approach, not knowing that it’ll deprive me of how much calories and macros I should be consuming. After understanding the basics of calories and macros, my diet is well balanced. I did CrossFit, which is a combo of weightlifting and cardio, and is composed of grueling and crushing workouts. I was experiencing fatigue after the workouts becoming irritable and unproductive and I was not seeing any results. I decided it was time to go for something else.

How has what you’ve achieved with your body changed other areas of your life?

I’m much more confident and my family and friends complement me on my body, my weightlifting progress, and my productivity. It has been great to me! The program has transformed me into a tireless and productive man. Now after my workouts I feel more energized and I have the ability to conquer my job as an Amazon delivery driver, care for my cat, make meals, and complete whatever’s on my plate!

Who would you recommend this program to and why?

I would definitely recommend this program to everyone! I also recommend this program to my family, relatives, and friends who have goals relating to weight loss, weight gain, or other fitness goals to improve their overall health and life.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

I have a developmental disorder called autism, which impairs the ability to communicate and socially interact. But the programs’ suggestions have helped me build confidence in being productive and helped me resolve any health issue, whether it’s physical, mental, or emotional.

There are a few tips I would like to share with others when looking and performing better:
1. Eat properly
2. Get enough rest.
3. Exercise regularly

Most importantly, read the chapters in the book and apply to what you’ve learned.

Did you use any Legion supplements?

I have not used any Legion supplements.
