Update: We’ve donated $10,923 to the Ukrainian Crisis Relief Fund, which provides food, water, shelter, healthcare, education, and economic assistance to the 1 million+ Ukrainian refugees who’ve fled the war in Ukraine, with a particular emphasis on giving aid to children.

And if you purchased anything in our store last week, you contributed to that, so THANK YOU!

I don’t know about you, but I believe the world can never have enough heroes.

These are the people who give us everything that’s beautiful, good, and real.

I also believe that every one of us can be a hero, and that it’s far easier than many people believe.

How?

Well, how do heroes behave?

Heroes don’t gripe about things that should change or simply “feel bad” for people who need help.

They do something about it.

While I don’t consider myself a hero per se, that’s why I started this company—to create the change I wanted to see in the sports supplements industry—and that’s why I have a “Charity Week.”

The idea here is very simple:

Every quarter, I donate a meaningful portion of a week’s worth of Legion’s sales to a top-ranked charity that resonates with me and my team.

There’s no cap on the donations either, so the more we sell, the more we give.

This time around, we chose to support the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund, which is run by Global Giving, a crowdfunding platform that connects donors with nonprofits organizations in 170 countries. They specialize in providing humanitarian aid to areas that are reeling from disaster such as famine, flood or, as is the case in Ukraine right now, war.

With your help, we donated $10,923 to provide food, water, shelter, healthcare, education, and economic assistance to the 1 million+ Ukrainian refugees who’ve fled to Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Moldova, and Romania, with a particular emphasis on giving aid to children.

My team and I love the mission of the Ukrainian Crisis Relief Fund, and according to Charity Navigator, they also have a 97.8% program expense ratio, meaning that almost every penny you donate will go to actually helping people rather than administrative faff.

We’ve already started looking at candidates for the next Charity Week, which will kick off in a few months, so if you have any suggestions, please share your thoughts in the comments section below!

Thanks again for helping us make this a success!
