What has happened so far on the program?

First & foremost my strength has increased significantly. Closely followed by the fact that my lats & especially my arms have exploded over the last 9 months! My chest is starting to slowly develop as well, though there is a long way to go yet!

What do you like most about the program?

The fact that it gave me the motivation & push to get in the gym. Couple this with the fact that the book explains all the finer details in plain, simple & straight forward English – there’s nothing complicated. Look to lift big but more importantly look to progressively overload!

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

The only thing I was apprehensive of was actually joining a gym – I had never joined one before. In addition to this to be able to “make time” I had to adapt when I worked out. I have a 1 hour commute each way to work & decided that in order to commit to the program I needed to be consistent. I therefore get up at 5:00 am each day, travel to the gym (which is next to where I work) & start working out shortly after 6:30am each day!

What are three other benefits of the program?

1. It encourages you to keep workouts under an hour – the less is more approach. I’m experiencing better gains now that I value rest periods as much as the ‘work outs’ themselves.

2. The program gives you a good foundation of which to base your nutritional requirements – whether you’re looking to add muscle mass or decrease body fat. BLS (Bigger Lean Stronger) clearly explains this.

3. The fact that Mike will always respond to your emails, tweets, Facebook message, etc. How many authors actually do that? Mike makes you feel important in what you are trying to achieve & is open to help you achieve your goals!

Yes I would recommend this program! Why? Simple – because it works! I have been following for 9 months now & I am starting to really see how training in such a way makes a difference to the human body! I am learning about myself every time I hit the gym & I love the changes I am seeing. Get the program & stick with it!
