What has happened so far on the program?

When I began Thinner Leaner Stronger, I had absolutely no clue what I was doing so I worked out with equipment I had at home. It was basic stuff but it worked. Then I moved to Germany and joined a large gym. It wasn’t the first time I’d been in a gym, but it was the first time that I was going to seriously try and lift.

So as you can imagine, that combined with the fact that I was in a foreign country, left me a bit nervous. Every time I went to the gym I pushed myself to go into the weights section and to ignore the fact that I was the only girl and that everyone was staring. And each time I went back it got a bit easier, until I stopped caring and just started lifting some heavyweight!

The results came pretty quickly for me, and progress became extremely addicting. And after getting to know some of the trainers and the other guys at the gym I found out that they actually really respected me for what I was doing. It was such a great feeling. Now I’m living in Switzerland and traveling constantly so it is very difficult to keep training consistent, but I do my best with what I have!

What do you like most about the program?

The fact that it’s not just about the working out and the diet numbers… It’s about a healthy lifestyle change.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

I had always been skeptical of workout programs – not only of their content but about my own ability to follow through and put in the work. But when I read Thinner Leaner Stronger I realized that it wasn’t just a temporary program, it’s a lifestyle!

What are three other benefits of the program?

– Improved self-confidence.

– Developing personal skills like perseverance, determination, and hard work and applying them to other areas of my life.

– Getting involved in the bodybuilding community… I never would have if I hadn’t read Thinner Leaner Stronger.

Would you recommend this program? If so, why?

I would and I already have convinced several of my friends to buy the book when they ask me for workout or diet advice. It’s just a really good way to get a general informational overview of the lifestyle. I think reading Thinner Leaner Stronger is also good for helping you figure out what the motivating factor is in your life, everyone needs one. Thinner Leaner Stronger has been the best decision I ever made!
