What has happened so far on the program?

Since starting the program I have lost around 2 and a half stone (35 lbs), but my strength has improved massively and have gained a fair bit of mass at the same time. I’ve added 20kg (45 lbs) onto my bench press for 3 sets!  15kg (33 lbs) on my shoulder press, about 40kg (88 lbs) onto my squat and about 35kg (77 lbs) on my deadlift.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

I thought it would be just another money making spin off that didn’t really care if people changed their body shape or not, but after reading the reviews and how Mike interacts with his fans really sold it to me!

What do you like most about the program?

I also bought The Year One Challenge as it is a great partner book to Bigger Leaner Stronger. The way it is played out and how easy to follow it is really kept me interested and being able to write in certain columns really helped me. The results were actually a lot faster than I originally expected!

How does this program compare with others you’ve tried?

Mike took dieting down to the basics and simple factors which cleared everything up for me and made it seem as easy as it really is where as some people over complicate things. The workouts include the foundation lifts of weight lifting which I love as they increase strength and size more than a lot of unconventional moves that other people rave about.

How has what you’ve achieved with your body changed other areas of your life?

I feel so much more confident. My girlfriend noticed huge differences in my body shape after I returned home from 7 months in Afghanistan where I started the program, making the diets easier to stick to and training most days. My energy is through the roof and I can get the energy from healthy foods rather than sugary crap.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

I would recommend this book and website to anyone. I’ve already got a few of my friends hooked on it! It has been the best thing I’ve ever started and I’ve never once thought of quitting it due to seeing brilliant results in myself!! Massive confidence booster and I’m generally feeling fit and healthy while looking great at the same time!!
