What has happened so far on the program?

I have dramatically increased my strength and muscle mass, reduced my body fat percentage from 25% to 15%, I feel healthier than ever before and for the first time in my adult life, I’m now proud of how my body is looking.

What do you like most about the program?

I like that it is simple, straightforward and encourages a strong sense of accomplishment and enablement.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

I was a bit hesitant, simply because of all the confusing and conflicting fitness programs that are available. I had tried a few in the past that left me feeling miserable and exhausted. I didn’t want to experience that sense of defeat again.

What are three other benefits of the program?

1. It is easy to follow and understand. I simply ate precisely what Mike laid out for me in my meal plans and have been strictly following the workouts listed in the year one plan.

2. It has none of the fluff, b.s. and fancifulness of so many popular workout plans.

3. It encourages getting fit in a way that improves not only your appearance, but your overall health and enjoyment of life, rather than simply looking good at any cost.

Would you recommend this program? If so, why?

I’ve recommended this program to many of my friends and family. So far, I’ve got my Wife, Father and 3 of my best friends following the program and all are seeing fantastic results. I recommend it because I believe this is a fantastic and achievable way of maximizing physical potential, without draining the enjoyment from everyday life.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

Just that I’m incredibly glad I found Mike’s books. Before I did, I thought fitness and exercise just “wasn’t my thing”. I can recall thinking at one point after doing a certain popular at-home “extreme” workout program that I just didn’t care if I was chubby and out of shape. I didn’t feel I could do what it took to be in great physical condition. Then I read “Bigger leaner stronger” and it inspired a sense of “yes I can” in me. Since then, I’ve made progress I never previously imagined I would and I have become more and more passionate about fitness. I can’t imagine ever going back.
