How many months’ progress do your pictures represent? What were your stats for each picture?

5 months. May 19, 2020-Sept 26, 2020
Starting stats: 178 pounds, 11% body fat
Current stats: 163 pounds, 6% body fat

What has happened so far on the program?

I cut 15 pounds and 5% body fat by following your macros guidelines in Bigger Leaner Stronger and on your Instagram. I ate about 12 calories per pound of my goal weight on my cut, and now am eating 14-16 calories per my current weight to maintain for now.

Kept the diet clean 90% of the time (lots of lean meats, fish, eggs, fruits, vegetables, nuts), making sure I got roughly 160-180 grams of protein a day. My big lifts have actually stayed about the same, which is amazing. Lost all the body fat I intended to with very little loss in muscle size/strength!

What workout split from the book did you use?

I used the 5 day split primarily, some weeks were forced to use the 3-day split due to unfortunate Covid restrictions and my military schedule.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

Nothing, as soon as I heard about the book I was all in!

What do you like most about the program?

I like how the program stresses that you don’t need to reinvent the wheel in the gym and in the kitchen. Track macros, get your hard sets in and stay consistent.

How does this program compare with others you’ve tried?

I love the simplicity and effectiveness of the program. Other things I have tried when I was younger left me drained and overtrained. These other programs are made for people who are on steroids and never get tired or overstrained.

I have so much respect for your program and what it can do for someone who wants a great natural physique. This is by far the best program I’ve followed.

How has what you’ve achieved with your body changed other areas of your life?

Not that I was terribly out of shape before haha, but having extra body fat definitely affected my mood and overall productivity. After using Bigger Leaner Stronger and getting back into arguably the best shape of my life, I am more productive than ever and way less moody.

Who would you recommend this program to and why?

I would recommend this program to anyone, and I have! I got my mom Thinner Leaner Stronger, and she loves it. Also got some of my friends and coworkers in the military on the grind! It’s great for beginners, but also for anyone who is a seasoned vet in the gym looking for a no BS guideline to get in tip-top shape.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

Mike Matthews has created a masterpiece here. If you are willing to put in the work and follow his program as intended, you can’t lose.

Did you use any Legion supplements?

I have not! But I intend to buy some for an upcoming deployment!
