What has happened so far on the program?

So far my weights have increased dramatically. My body weight has increased from about 174 to 186 with little noticeable increase in fat. I have gotten compliments from friends and family on how I look, and my girlfriend absolutely loves it. Best of all I have significantly more confidence in every other area of my life as a result of my changes.

What do you like most about the program?

I like that the program is reasonable while still hitting all the muscle groups. Some programs are compound-only and really neglect groups like biceps, calves, abs/obliques, etc. This program seems to hit all the muscle groups by using a heavy compound followed by isolations for specific muscles. It works the muscles hard while at the same time not following the broscience of having to nearly kill yourself (back day is a compound and 2 other exercises along with biceps for 3 sets, while some say you need like 10 different back exercises at like 8+ sets which is ridiculous). The rep range is reasonable (5rm) and seems to be causing my strength to jump up pretty significantly along with my size gains.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

If nothing else, laziness kept me from lifting in the past. I got into bodyweight exercise for a while but it only took me so far and any gains quickly stopped because I wasn’t adding any weight. I bought the book after a friend recommended another book and I saw this was also purchased on amazon. I liked that it had everything in it from nutrition to actual training. I gave it a go and read it, and loved it. The beginner program offered was very user-friendly and seemed to incorporate everything I wanted into a program I could work into my life schedule.

What are three other benefits of the program?

Besides getting bigger and getting stronger, I have more confidence all around because I look and feel better, my commitment and dedication skills have improved because I am pursuing a goal that is already showing results, and my girlfriend cant keep her hands off my body which speaks for itself!

Would you recommend this program? If so, why?

Absolutely. The nutrition aspect is very easy to understand and allows a beginner to get on a regiment suited to their goals (I would assume bulking for a beginner unless they are overweight, in which case there is plenty of information to allow for effective weight loss). The weight training itself is very manageable by hitting every muscle group hard with compounds and isolation work without having to go ridiculously overboard on sets and number of exercises per group. Very effective program and at only 3 months of lifting I look and feel completely different.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

Only that I will continue using the program because if this is what it can do after only 3 months, I can only imagine how much stronger and better looking my body will be after 6 months, a year, and more. Awesome program, I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to find and use it!
