How many months’ progress do your pictures represent? What were your stats for each picture?

This is 8 months of applying some of the principles of what I learned through Bigger Leaner Stronger. My body fat percentage was above 50% and still is currently.

Honestly what I needed most and got out of Bigger Leaner Stronger was understanding “what is food,” and why and how it affects my body. In good ways and bad ways.

A basic understanding of what each nutrient does to my body is what helped me most. Working on my macros and micros has changed my life. Taking it one step and one day at a time.

What has happened so far on the program?

I have lost a lot of fat which is my goal in the journey at this point. I have lost 81 lbs so far. Just by taking the knowledge of what I ate from Bigger Leaner Stronger and walking it out every day.

Meal prepping. And reminding myself WHY I am doing this. The mental challenges have been difficult but I often listen to track 18 of the audiobook to remember the psychology of what I am dealing with as I lose weight.

What workout split from the book did you use?

I have not started to work out yet I have only applied the knowledge of what food is and I stand now 81 lbs lighter.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

Apathy and nothing else.

What do you like most about the program?

What I like is Mikes’s approach of using science hard data and also his own journey. I don’t feel he is pushing ANYTHING on me but just the value of his knowledge. My best friend Dominic is a Bigger Leaner Stronger soldier and is a crazy fit.

He has also helped me walk this out which Mike does say people need as they do anything in their health journey. I just appreciate what Mike is bringing to the table.

How does this program compare with others you’ve tried?

I never really tried a program before. But what I do know is that this book has helped me in the perfect timing of my life. I was learning what it meant to love myself and why I matter in this world.

My health is so key to that and now I understand the work I need to put in to be successful in this one area.

How has what you’ve achieved with your body changed other areas of your life?

Wow, this is tough to answer in short form haha but going from 385 lbs to 304 has changed me in immense ways. With my wife. With my 1yr old son. With my friendships. In my job. It has affected every single part.

Not that I’m doing this for the raise of other people but to see people even cry for me when they see how I’ve changed so far is kinda wild. I have a long way to go I want to get to 180-175 and then get cut and even stronger form that point. Reading this book has helped build a foundation of what HEALTH is for me.

Who would you recommend this program to and why?

I would recommend this book to anyone who has struggled with addiction to food or really any substance. Understanding your body is the roadmap a lot of people don’t have. The food industry is so backward and no one holds them accountable.

The truth we all need to be accountable to ourselves first and treat our bodies the right way. Somehow I’m learning this a love of maximizing our own lives. You are never too broken to just START. Bigger Leaner Stronger is an incredible source of knowledge of truth and inspiration.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

I just want to thank Mike for taking the time and energy for writing this book. I want to thank him for every decision he made to Love his own self and somehow that has helped so many others find their path into becoming BIGGER LEANER AND STRONGER.

For me, it’s been life-changing in my relationship to food so thank you for doing what you do Mike. All the best to you my friend. Let’s hang someday haha.

Did you use any Legion supplements?

Not yet but when I get down to my goal weight of 175 I’m sure I will.
