What has happened so far on the program?

I am 19 years old over the course of 3 years I went from weighing 143 lbs and around 17% body fat to weighing 150 lbs but with only 9% body fat. 🙂

I started bulking and went from 143 lbs to 210 lbs. I was really fat…I didn’t track macros and didn’t log my training either.

I then went on a cut for 6 months using Bigger Leaner Stronger, eating 0.8g of protein/lb of body weight each day and re-feeding 2 times a week. I also was doing intermittent fasting, eating all my food in an 8 hour window each day.

My current one-rep max stats are:

Bench Press-264 lbs

Squat-286 lbs

Deadlift-352 lbs

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

Nothing. I simply checked out BLS online when I came across Mike’s channel while watching Kinobody.

What do you like most about the program?

I liked the simplicity of the program. It was easy to follow and make progress on! I made strength & rep pr’s each week.

How does this program compare with others you’ve tried?

The program allowed me to get stuff done without spending 2 hours in the gym. 1 hour in and out! I worked out early in the morning fasted with BCCAAs and coffee.

How has what you’ve achieved with your body changed other areas of your life?

I’m much more confident around girls and just in general. I love to wear nice clothes now and walk around shirtless on the beach. 🙂

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

I would recommend this to anyone looking to get in shape while enjoying life, family and friends. Everybody can do this. Just run the program and see for yourself!

But most important is that you can get in great shape without your life revolving around fitness and you can make your fitness revolve around your OWN lifestyle!

Push yourself, strive for personal records and follow the program. It seems low volume compared to the stuff you find online but as a natty intensity is key. You need to get stronger to grow.
