What has happened so far on the program?

I am 24 years old and in 10 months on Bigger Leaner Stronger I gained 15 lbs of muscle while losing 2% body fat!

Gaining 15 lbs of muscle while still losing a couple percentage points of body fat has boosted my self-belief and self-confidence tremendously.

Mike doesn’t lie when he says the best way to build muscle is simply to pick up, push, or move heavy ass weight.

My bench has increased by almost 40%, deadlift by 50%, and military Press by 35%. Unfortunately, a recurring hamstring injury has kept me from really pushing squats but I can’t wait to see how I can improve it once I am 100% healthy

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

I had never tried a complete training program like BLS up until I read the book. As a collegiate soccer player, I was always in the gym but never had the type of structure and guidance that Mike provided.

I was a bit hesitant at first, thinking that my past 5 years of being in the gym had proven that it was near impossible for me to put on more muscle mass. I was dead wrong.

What do you like most about the program?

To me, the best part of the program was the simplicity. Mike is super knowledgeable but presents it all in a way that makes it easy for anyone to follow.

I never felt overwhelmed by the information or lost along the way with my exercises or my diet. The results occurred so much quicker than I would have thought possible.

Along with that, the custom meal plan from Muscle For Life was a game changer.
