What has happened so far on the program?

First Picture: I weighted 155 lbs with 14 % body fat.
Second Picture: I weigh 150 lbs with 7 % body fat.

It took me an year to go from 14 to 7 %. I followed mike’s 25 % calorie deficit advice. I am pretty satisfied with the improvements in my lifts because of the 6 x 6 routine explained into Bigger Leaner Stronger.

Bench Press: 200 lbs to 230 lbs.
Deadlift: 300 lbs to 350 lbs.
Military Press: 130 lbs to 165 lbs.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

I have been working out for almost a year before I started following BLS workout and nutrition plan. I was doing a program by Beach Body. I found it pretty good but it didn’t give me the results I wanted. It needed some modifications especially in nutrition section.

I was never into buying books and programs related to fitness & health because I always thought they don’t work. I got BLS book from a friend. Once I started using it I got addicted because of the results I achieved.

What do you like most about the program?

The thing I really liked about BLS and BBLS is that almost everything is explained in details. If its nutrition or workouts, they are explained in great depth with scientific facts supporting it.

I believe anything is easy if you stick to it. But the thing about this program is that it’s explained in such a great way that makes things look easy. Which makes you stay committed to it and of course the results make you push even harder.

How does this program compare with others you’ve tried?

The workouts in BLS, which are based on 6 x 6 routine. It’s more like balanced workouts which give you strength and stamina. You don’t have to spend several hours in the gym to achieve the body you desire. The workout period is small compare to other workouts and gives you the results you desire.

You don’t have to eat plain rice or just chicken and vegetables while dieting but you can eat anything you want as long as you keep track of it.

How has what you’ve achieved with your body changed other areas of your life?

To be honest, almost everyone wants to be healthy and look good without a shirt. I feel more confident with the way I look and way people notice me because of how I look. No one even knew I exist before I start using this program. But now I see how people look at me and sometimes ask for my advice on workouts.

I feel more energetic after I am done with my workouts compare to the days when I don’t workout.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

There is only one word and that is “consistency”. Be consistent with your workouts and your nutrition. If you be patient, you will see results and once you see the results. It will get easier.
