What has happened so far on the program?

I’ve been on this program for a little over a year. I started at 130 lbs and 21% body fat. Now I’m at 115 lbs and 15% body fat.

For starters I’m no longer that dainty and weak girl I was over a year ago. My strength has increased tremendously ever since I started lifting heavy and I have a lot more energy throughout the day.

Specifically in my squats and deadlifts, I see a noticeable difference in my legs and butt which I’ve been trying to achieve for years. I never bothered doing any of these types of workouts in the past and didn’t understand what a difference they make. All thanks to Mike!

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

I wasn’t sure if I could do this program at first but once I started it with my boyfriend it was easier to have someone there with me. For years I used to do just cardio and lightweights, not being very consistent with my routine. I would take guesses on what I thought was good or healthy to eat, but didn’t know the importance of keeping track of what and how much I was eating based on my goals.

What do you like most about the program?

What I like most about the program is how much happier I feel when I look in the mirror. Before Thinner Leaner Stronger I used to judge myself a lot based on my overall appearance and wasn’t too crazy about the way my clothes fit.

It was tough at first because I doubted myself and I wanted to give up when I didn’t see the results I wanted to see as quickly as I expected. Eventually I learned how my body develops over time and realized that progress and consistency pays off. Now I feel more confident than ever since my body has transformed.

How has what you’ve achieved with your body changed other areas of your life?

I’m a lot more confident in my appearance now and love going to the gym especially at 5am every morning with my boyfriend. This program has changed both of our lives for the better and we now try to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

Don’t give up. Even when you feel like nothing will change, just keep pushing forward and you’ll see the results you want to see.
