Welp, we’ve hit the halfway mark of 2018, and it has been a doozy so far.

I mean . . .

And we still have six more months of 2018 to go.

Fortunately, things have been a lot less weird here at Legion HQ.

In the last month, we’ve started to get some pretty sweet tans, and . . .

RECHARGE is getting an upgrade.

An important part of growing a business and brand is innovation, and in this line of work, that includes regularly reviewing and updating formulations.

That’s why we’ve made several tweaks and improvements to our products over the years, and why we’re always working on the next round of enhancements.

I’m particularly excited about the last round, because it included our post-workout supplement RECHARGE.

It’s designed to help you gain muscle and strength faster and recover better and faster from your workouts, and as you probably know, there aren’t that many natural ingredients out there that can reliably and affordably deliver on those targets.

That’s why we’ve struggled in the past to improve RECHARGE’s simple but effective formulation of creatine monohydrate, L-carnitine L-tartrate, and corosolic acid.

A few months ago, however, I asked my Director of Research Kurtis Frank and the rest of the science board to really dig in and find a way to improve the product. Into the science mines they went, and a couple weeks ago, they emerged victorious.

Specifically, they’d like to swap the corosolic acid for ursolic acid, and add whey hydrolysate, isoleucine, and a full electrolyte profile.

This isn’t 100% final yet because we’re still working on pricing, but it’s looking good so far.

First, though, a new RECHARGE flavor!

It will take several months to roll out “RECHARGE 2.0,” and in the meantime, we’re going to be releasing a freakin’ delicious new flavor of the existing RECHARGE:

Strawberry lemonade!

And let me tell you–this stuff isn’t just good, it’s so good that you’ll want to sip it all day . . . which I do not recommend because that much creatine will, uh, make you shit yourself.

Seriously though, this sucker is one of our best-tasting products yet, so I can’t wait to get your take. It’ll be ready for you THIS MONTH!

Speaking of new flavors—PULSE is getting TWO!

We get requests for more PULSE flavors every day, so we’re always working on new ones.

The base formulation tastes more or less like satan’s stink star, so it always takes longer than it should to get a new flavor right, but we’ve just recently greenlighted another two:

Pink lemonade and cherry limeade!

And guess what? They’ll be available for sale this month as well!

This summer is just getting better and better! 🙂

(What should we do next for PULSE? Let me know in the comments below!)

Two new flavors of WHEY+ are on the way, too.

The whey protein game is like high school dating.

You and everyone else are scrambling for a piece, and more often than not, you have to settle for scraps.

Seriously though, as popular as whey protein is, it’s also expensive, and there are a million competitors collectively spending millions of dollars a day advertising their whey powders as the absolute tit juice.

One of the reasons ours–WHEY+–has done so well is hidden in plain sight. Spend a minute or two reading reviews, and you’ll spot it:

It just tastes so damn good.

If you haven’t tried it yet, trust me–place an order, and if you’re not downright impressed at how nice it is to drink, just let us know and we’ll give you a refund on the spot. You don’t even have to send it back.

That’s why we have two more flavors in the works–birthday cake and mint chocolate chip.

More on this soon.

THRIVE is going to get some love, too.

Our plant-based protein powder THRIVE is one of my favorite Legion products.

Seriously.

It tastes great, feels good in your mouth (huhuhuhuh), is chock-full of protein, and contains no dairy, soy, or sugar.

And it’s about to get even better.

Specifically, we’re working on a new version that doesn’t contain any hemp or quinoa protein, and instead, will contain only rice and pea protein.

Why?

Well, the quinoa adds a few grams of carbs per serving, and it turns out a lot of people kinda don’t like hemp, so we’ve decided to simply replace them with more rice and pea protein.

I like this formulation even more because while the quinoa and hemp contributed slightly to the texture and mouthfeel, I’d rather have the additional leucine that rice and pea bring (which is better for muscle building).

That’s it for now, folks! Toodles!

Thanks again for all of your support, and if you’re half as excited for everything we have in store as I am, share this article on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or wherever your favorite online hangout is.
