Welp, these first couple of months of 2018 have vanished faster than Chumbawambas’ music career.
TEMPUS FUGIT, (WO)MAN.
We’ve made the most of the time though, which is why this month’s “dossier” on Legion is juicy.
Here’s the sauce:
A new flavor of GENESIS is out!
So real talk, the boys at the office have always been conflicted about GENESIS. Half of us liked the original flavor enough to drink it every day, and the other (low T) half thought it was “too yucky.”
That’s why we now haze new employees with a full-immersion GENESIS baptism.
(I wish. HR lawyer insisted that this is a bad idea.)
Anyway, the long story short here is due to the sheer amount of funky-tasting active ingredients in GENESIS, it has been one of the hardest products to flavor.
To be fair, most greens supplements taste like butt so we’re pretty happy with where the original flavor is currently at, but it’s still a bit too intense for some people.
This new flavor, however, is the cat’s pajamas. Seriously. It’s so good you can sip it. For whatever reason, the silly little acai berry masks the unpleasant stuff in GENESIS quite nicely and leaves you with a very mild green drink with a slightly sweet, fruity taste.

More new flavors of several products are in the works.
Over the past few months, we’ve been working with several different labs to create new flavors for a few of our best-selling products, including:
We like to give the flavor process as much time as it takes to get it just right, so I can’t promise any release dates just yet, but expect to see goodies hitting your inbox in the coming months.
Protein bars are sooooo close.
We placed the first order for protein bars last month, and now we’re working on the packaging design.
I’ll give you a sneak peek in the next monthly update, and we expect to have bars ready to ship in May.
We have started working on a BCAA product.
Yes, that’s right.
We’ve decided to ride the supplement bandwagon and sell out because, uh, lambos don’t buy themselves, duh.
Not yet at least. I think I have at least a few more good years before the midlife crisis strikes. Once you see me low-key humble bragging about shiny nonsense on social media, you’ll know it’s time to jump ship.
We ARE going to create a “better than BCAAs” product though, but not for the reasons most people would have you believe.
It’s not going to help you gain muscle or strength, burn fat, or do anything that a high-protein diet can’t do for you.
It IS, however, going to be perfect for mitigating the increase in muscle breakdown that occurs during fasted training.
I actually prefer HMB over BCAAs for this because it gets the job done without raising insulin levels, which is why we included HMB in our pre-workout fat-burner, FORGE.
That’s where this “better than BCAAs” product comes in (and more later on why I’m saying it’s going to be better than plain ol’ BCAAs).
Research also shows that BCAAs may help reduce muscle soreness and fatigue during endurance exercise, which is something you runners, triathletes, CrossFitters, and obstacle psychos should keep in mind. 🙂
Alrighty, that’s it for now!
