How many months’ progress do your pictures represent? What were your stats for each picture?

The time to the before and after was 12 weeks. I weighed 225 lbs and finished at 194 lbs. My body fat percent to start was approximately 22% and I finished at approximately 11%.

What has happened so far on the program?

I started the 12 week program on the cutting diet. I was initially losing about 3 lbs a week! I was amazed with the progress I was making with the weight loss and it made me work even harder towards my goal of 195 lbs.

I pushed all my weights at the gym and increased what I was lifting almost weekly. I started my flat barbell bench press at 145 lbs and finished at 205 lbs. I started my deadlifts at 275 lbs and finished at 335 lbs. Everyone at the gym complimented my weight changes and the weight loss.

What workout split from the book did you use?

I created my workout schedule off the 5 day split. It gives my the availability to fit in more workouts for each muscle group.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

I had been going to the gym for about 3 months and lost little weight and saw zero muscle gain and almost no weight change for all my workouts. There was a guy at the gym that seemed to be pretty fit and strong for his size and I asked him one day what he was doing to see the results.

He briefly told me about Bigger Leaner Stronger and how it completely changed the way he saw working out. Explained that he sees how incorrectly I was working out and if I wanted to fix it I would buy the book and read it. I went home that day and bought it and it was by far the best decision I made to change myself and my workouts.

What do you like most about the program?

What I liked most about the program….. The results. Not only the incredible weight loss but the muscle gain and muscle tone I have gotten by changing what I was doing. It came so easy especially compared to what I was doing at the gym.

How does this program compare with others you’ve tried?

The only other programs I have tried have been diet programs. My primary focus was to lose the extra weight I had gain in the previous years. It had become too much and I tried countless diet programs that never gave much detail as to how much to eat or why it was going to make me lose weight.

If the diets did anything, it would be a couple pounds lost and then it wouldn’t work anymore. Bigger Leaner Stronger outline all the whats and whys to dieting and went in even more depth than I was expecting and explained all the aspects to bulking, cutting and maintaining. It was so refreshing to read about what to do and for it to be explained in depth why it was the right thing to do. Couldn’t be better.

How has what you’ve achieved with your body changed other areas of your life?

So, some of the biggest benefits are the little things. Like… tying my shoes, getting up from the ground or jumping into bed and not being winded. With all of the little things aside, I feel so much better. I have been amazed with how I look in such a little amount of time.

All my family and friends compliment me on how I look. It definitely makes me feel more confident to wear the tight shirts that I never wanted to wear or even the clothes that never fit because I had outgrown them.

Who would you recommend this program to and why?

I would recommend the book and the program to anyone that has interest in bettering themselves. In fact, I have already recommended it to more than a dozen people and preach it when someone recognizes my gains or weight loss. People can’t believe that I was able to lose so much weight and get so much toner but I was able to do it by just following the guidelines in Bigger Leaner Stronger.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?
