How many months’ progress do your pictures represent? What were your stats for each picture?

2 1/2 years.

Picture 1: about two and a half years ago. 220 pounds and about 28-30% body fat.

Picture 2: two years ago. 195 pounds and 22-24% body fat. Began the Bigger  Leaner Stronger program.

Picture 3: one year ago. 185 pounds and 20-22% body fat. The rest of the pictures are current, 175 pounds and 15-16% body fat.

What has happened so far on the program?

Stayed on cut. Lost 20 pounds.

Bench press: went from 150 to 210.
Squat: went from  130 to 240.
Deadlift: went from 210 to 335.
Military press: went from 100 to 180.

What workout split from the book did you use?

Five day, then three day, and then went back to five day.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

I didn’t really believe I had the discipline to stay with it. I had tried gym memberships in the past but didn’t know what I was doing, became frustrated, and just quit.

What do you like most about the program?

This program is so well laid out and explained, both how and why. I tried making it on my own, and while I was able to lose some weight without it, it was only after I started Bigger Leaner Stronger that the muscle gains really kicked in.

How does this program compare with others you’ve tried?

I have never tried another program, and now I don’t need to.

How has what you’ve achieved with your body changed other areas of your life?

It is night and day. Before the program, I was sluggish and tired most of the time, and I hated what I saw when I looked in the mirror. In fact, I wouldn’t even remove my shirt at the pool.

I just chalked it all up to getting old. Now I feel like I’m 25 years younger and I’m proud of what the work has accomplished for my health, as well as the way my body looks.

Who would you recommend this program to and why?

I am living proof that even at the age of 62, you can have a strong, healthy body and a physique of which you can be proud. It won’t be easy and it won’t be overnight, but it will be worth it. There will be challenges and maybe even road blocks along the way, but rest assured that Mike has provided the tools to deal with it all.
